BOMBERS Demo and LITIGE Demo out Now

Featuring (ex-)members of other Massachusetts outfits such as Combat Zone, Zipperhead and Flaccid, Boston is literally droppin’ the boom(!) this time with the release of Bombers’ first demo cassette! Harsh Reality had first dibs to unleash This savagery to the world and it’s bound to leave every living room into an apocalyptic wasteland with its fury!

With five tracks, divided over six and a half minutes of play-time, you know this tape is going to be rager and guess what? That is exactly what this demo is!The recording is raw and unpolished, like everything was plugged in and banged out in one take, just to get back to the more important things in life, like knocking back a few more cold beers! This gives Bombers an authentic and vicious sound, that is taking you straight back to the 80’s! Can hardcore get any better than this? 
Well maybe, but for now Bombers first demo will do! Because “Cold”, “Gonna Get It Over With”, “Laughing In The Face Of Death”, “Dirty Animal” and “High Tolerance” are smashing it up right now! An absolute ripper of a demo from the city that never seems to disappoint when it comes down to hardcore!

Violent Reaction - Marching On Lp ( yellow wax first press)

Originally conceived and executed as a one-man project by Tom Pimlott on the banks of the Mersey River in Liverpool, England, Violent Reaction recorded a demo in 2011, an EP in 2012 and an LP for Painkiller Records in 2013. Soon after, Tom relocated to Leeds to assemble a full band with an end result that finds the lads playing straight edge, hardcore punk with an obvious oi influence. With a lengthy American tour with their brother band The Flex under their belt, Violent Reaction is set to make their Revelation Records debut with "Marching On." Vinyl version includes digital download.

Une Vie Pour Rien?

It is without a doubt Une Vie Pour Rien? that is delivering some of the finest French Oi! and punk this past decade. In 2012 the label released the first volume in the “La Force Dans La Oi!” series, that introduced us to bands like Larcin, The Fanatiques and Lion’s Law, the latter one experiencing an immense growth ever since! Now it’s time for volume 2, and yet again the top of the crop is compiled for this 7”!

Side A makes room for two of my newer favorite French bands at the moment, Syndrome 81 and Traitre! Both bands present a very significant sound that is filled with energy, melody and melancholy. I can’t really speak for the lyrics, my French is rather poor and I don’t have a lyric sheet to translate yet, but the music of both Syndrome 81 (“Contre Vents Et Marées”) and Traitre (“Trainer”) just screams despair and, in my eyes, pure brilliance, crossing the bridge between Oi! and punk rock perfectly!

Side B makes room for two more of my newer favorite French bands at the moment, Rixe and Outreau! Rixe blew me away earlier this year with their debut EP “Coups Et Blessures” and with their latest track, “Contre-Courant”, they continue to impress with more 80’s influenced madness! Outreau rounds “La Force Dans La Oi!” volume 2 off with the first and only English track on the record, “Spirit”. A mid-paced skull-crusher with a tense sound that will get your chin up for sure!

So there you have it, four of my favorite French bands delivering one exclusive track each! Syndrome 81 and Traitre bring out the melancholy, while Rixe and Outreau bust out the stompers for an amazing second edition in the “La Force Dans La Oi!” series! Extremely recommended!
